The story behind MiBility
As an accessibility engineering professional for over a decade, I’ve dedicated my career to helping organizations integrate accessibility into their products, processes, and workflows. Through this work, I’ve seen just how transformative thoughtful systems, clear communication, and data-driven insights can be, not only for teams, but for the people they ultimately serve.
Over time, my passion for digital accessibility began to intertwine with my love for my Hmong community and my respect for their lived experiences as people with disabilities. I carry a unique perspective shaped by standing at the intersection of multiple marginalized identities, and it’s shown me both the beauty and the challenges our communities navigate when trying to build something meaningful and access innovative products.
I have observed many entrepreneurs, creators, and visionaries who are deeply talented and passionate about their work, yet may not have access to the tools, resources, or guidance needed to incorporate accessibility. These gaps aren’t due to lack of care or ability; they’re often the result of systemic barriers that make it harder for marginalized communities to access the same information and opportunities.
This is where I can help make a different in my community.
My goal is to empower and support individuals and small business who want to uplift their communities while building experiences that are inclusive and welcoming to all. By offering guidance, practical strategies, and approachable tools, I hope to help people take small, meaningful steps toward accessibility every day. Steps that collectively move us toward a more inclusive tomorrow.

Who I am
At my core, I care about people, clarity, and purpose. I’m someone who likes to take what feels complex or overwhelming and make it make sense. Whether that’s through data, storytelling, process, conversation, or a mix of it all. I’m driven by connection and collaboration, and I believe real progress happens when we bring people together around shared understanding.
Core Values
Integrity and Accountability
I believe in doing what’s right, even when it’s not the easiest path. I take ownership of my work and follow through on commitments, building a trust through transparency and consistency.
Collaboration and Inclusion
Accessibility is about people, and so is my approach to work. I value open communication, shared understanding, and creating a space where every voice can contribute to better outcomes.
Clarity and Simplicity
Complex challenges don’t always need complicated solutions. I focus on making information, processes, and data clear and actionable so teams can make confident, informed decisions.
Continuous Improvement
As a lifelong learner, there is always room to grow. I’m driven by curiosity, exploring new ideas and perspectives, and learning from others.
Compassion and Purpose
At the core of my work, and who I am, it is a passion to make things better for people. I approach accessibility with empathy and compassion; ensuring every solution supports meaningful, inclusive experiences.

My Personal Story
I am a first generation Hmong-American woman who continue to work on staying connected to her roots while navigating the demands of both cultural ends of the spectrum between being a Hmong woman and an American. As a neurodivergent ethnic minority, I have observed first hand how the system fails those most in need, whether due to cultural or language barriers, these failures have life long consequences and can be detrimental for someone whose desire is to live as independently as they can. These systemic failures continue to exist. I am hopeful that as we (those from marginalized communities) continue to share our voices and stories, that change will happen.
I am also a caregiver to an elderly parent, and have two kids, one who is AuDHD and the other neurodivergent, too.
I enjoy traveling, hiking, reading, and have a hobby farm raising chickens.
